ServiceNow Operational Sustainability Management
ServiceNow Operational Sustainability Management revolutionizes how organizations manage, visualize, and report on sustainability efforts and risks across the environmental, social, and governance spectrum. By streamlining data collection, organization, and storage into a single, user-friendly system, Operational Sustainability Management simplifies the process. It also automates dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders and aligns with external disclosure requirements according to prominent sustainability standards and frameworks, including CSRD/ESRS, GRI, SASB, UN SDGs, TCFD, and SustainableIT.org.
Operationalizing sustainability across the enterprise
With ServiceNow Operational Sustainability Management, organizations can operationalize sustainability across their enterprise by leveraging the platform's powerful capabilities and workflow engine. Functional owners receive automated access to enterprise data, analytics, and insights, enabling them to actively participate in sustainability programs. This enables core teams to concentrate on program execution, compliance, and reporting, while fostering organizational buy-in and achieving sustainability objectives.
Seamless user experience
The application provides a seamless user experience, facilitating data collection from internal stakeholders, access to a metric collection tracking dashboard, and a goal tracking dashboard for internal reporting. Additionally, it enables the generation of reports and disclosures through multiple channels. Reports can be generated directly from Operational Sustainability Management in .xls format or by using the Microsoft 365 plugin to embed and format metric data in Word documents. This integration with Microsoft 365 enables effortless inclusion of up-to-date metrics in Word reports.
Pre-configured content packs
Content packs are available, providing sustainability metrics aligned with GRI (505), TCFD (55), SASB (338), and the UN SDGs (400), as well as sector-specific metric definitions for TCFD and SASB. CSRD/ESRS and SustainableIT.org frameworks can also be downloaded as part of the content accelerator.
Robust workflow platform
ServiceNow Operational Sustainability Management is built on the ServiceNow AI Platform's robust workflow platform, ensuring that every transaction, including metric data tasks, is auditable. All changes and approvals to each data point are stored on the metric data record, ready for internal and external assurance checks. The reliability of the consistent data model and controls will be particularly valuable given the increasing scrutiny of regulators and investors on data accuracy. Users can combine information from any functional area where ServiceNow serves as the core system of record, as well as from other connected data sets.
