Major Security Incident Management (MSIM) provides a dedicated workspace and workflow methodology to coordinate various activities across different groups and resolve major security incidents more efficiently.
Major Security Incident Management (MSIM) improves the major security incident remediation process with the following features:
- Dedicated workspace for managing major security incidents.
- Visual task board to manage all response tasks associated with major security incidents.
- Automated creation of chat channels and collaboration folders once a major security incident is created and archived as part of incident closure.
- File explorer component to organize and track the collection of artifacts (files) related to the major security incident via a Microsoft SharePoint integration.
- Chat channel manager and activity stream components to manage communications across multiple security, IT, and functional groups via a Microsoft Teams integration.
- Status Reports have configurable templates and the capability to preview and share reports with Executive and Technical personas (using PDF or rich-text email formats).
Fixed:
- Fixed a 404 error that occurred when previewing MSIM Status Report templates. You can now save and preview these reports.
- Fixed an issue where the Delete option was missing for user-created “My Lists” in the Major Security Incident Management workspace. This fix restores standard list control functionality, ensuring consistency with other workspaces.
