Planned Maintenance uses maintenance plans to trigger the creation of work orders. These work orders specify what and when to perform maintenance on devices that are part of the maintenance plans. Work orders and requests can be based on:
- A specified time interval: The maintenance is performed after the specified duration since the previous maintenance was performed.
- Meters or usage: The maintenance is performed after the specified meter count or usage count like the number of pages are printed or a specified number of miles are driven.
Create and manage:
- Maintenance plans
- Schedules
Define various schedule types such as:
- Duration
- Meter
- Condition
- Script
Associate work order templates to schedules to create work orders.
New
- Administrators can manage Planned Maintenance access using updated, non-Glide query ACLs (access control lists).
- The system supports new query-based access controls for Planned Maintenance, enabling more precise control over user permissions and roles during upgrades and new installations.
Changed
- Role assignments in Planned Maintenance have been updated to resolve invalid or missing roles in access controls.
- ACLs have been reviewed and remediated to ensure all required roles are defined and dependencies are correctly declared, improving access reliability and plugin installation consistency.
Dependent on com.snc.planned_maintenance plugin.
