Planned Maintenance uses maintenance plans to trigger the creation of work orders. These work orders specify what and when to perform maintenance on devices that are part of the maintenance plans. Work orders and requests can be based on:
- A specified time interval: after a number of months since previous maintenance was performed.
- Meters or usage: after a specified number of pages are printed or a specified number of miles are driven.
Create and manage:
- Maintenance plans
- Schedules
Define various schedule types such as:
- Duration
- Meter
- Condition
- Script
Associate work order templates to schedules to create work orders.

Access Control Update: System properties that were accessible only by admin and maintusers, due to having empty read or write roles, have been updated to include the plan_maint_admin role. Now, users with the plan_maint_admin role can access and manage these properties without needing full admin rights.
